I really like the sepia effect of a new tattoo – I’m thinking we’ll do a red wash on this baby when she’s finished, it just works really well on biomech.

The negative space really pops-out now – that’ll have grey detailing put in later on.
Here you can see some of the detail around my wrist, what you can’t see is the lining-in that goes around my arm.
Wrist Work
I didn’t get to hang last week as the weather was total pants. Hoping to go up in a couple of weeks, in the meantime am still off the coffee!
Damn me and my design completeness* ethos! It meant tattooing my elbow; oh well if you’re gonna talk the talk an’ all that.

In suspension based news; I’m currently hoping the weather holds out for the weekend, otherwise my week of no coffee is going to be a bit of a pointless exercise. Although I did learn that caffeine withdrawal isn’t very nice, I’ve never had so many headaches!
* Don’t get me started on people that only have half an arm-band because; “tattooing that side of the arm really hurts” – Grrr!
New Meets Old
Had some more work on the left sleeve this week, working in the new biomech with some of the tribal ink. My suspension is set to go ahead (weather permitting) in about ten days; I think the biggest challenge will be fasting for a few days prior to it, as all this healthy eating has made me appreciate food even more!
