Suspension Experience

I thought I’d write something about my suspension experience, I didn’t want to do it straight away as wanted time for my thoughts to gel and not be tinged by post suspension euphoria. After nearly two weeks I think I’m ready to put fingers to keys.

I took this picture after removing the dressings, about five hours after the suspension. I’ve not had too much discomfort from the piercings, even managing to get a good nights sleep from day one. I also started swimming as usual on Monday; which was a really trippy experience for the first twenty minutes or so, due to the weightless sensation you get when in water.

I can’t summon the words to do justice to my suspension experience. Everthing was right; the weather, location and even the tree I hung off! Anyway I think I’ll just post a picture and leave it at that for the time being. . .
