F.A.Q - Female Genital Piercing

Q: Will a VCH or Labia piercing make me ‘horny’ just by walking?
A: No not normally I’m afraid. Most Women report heightened sensations, but the majority of women that have these piercings do not ‘get off’ on the walk to the shops, that’s not to say that you don’t get the odd ‘nice sensation’.

Q: Can I have a horizontal clitoris hood piercing?
A: This piercing is highly dependant on your ‘formation’ and will generally require a very ‘defined’ clitoris / hood. Again this is the sort of thing a piercer will need to see before you can really find out if you are suitable.

Q: What pleasure will my partner get from Genital piercing?
A: Apart from the visual effect there is little that female genital piercings ‘do’ for the partner, unlike their male alternatives, the women get all the benefit. See I told you there was a good advantage to being a woman:).

Q: Can you pierce the Clitoris itself?
A: Yes generally, again it depends on your formation, many Women that have had it done as well as a hood piercing say that the hood piercing is more stimulating than going directly for the Clitoris.

Q: When the piercing is performed is there a lot of blood?
A: No, not huge amounts of blood, but this can vary, some studios give out sanitary towels to allay any fears about this and it’s probably not a good idea to wear your best pants, this goes for guys too, but we never do, eh girls?

Q: When will I be able to have sex?
A: Healing times vary from person to person, but you can normally start having intercourse after a few weeks, if it hurts you should stop and give it a little longer. This is an area where you have to use a little common sense.

Q: What about aftercare?
A: Pretty much the same as any other piercing you need to use the same saline solution and do it regularly! Please see the aftercare section for more information. You may have to get your partner (or a very good friend :-0 ) to help out with the cleaning, as it’s not the easiest area to ‘get to’.
